세상은 점점 정보가 많아지고, 의미가 줄어드는 방향으로 흐르고 있다.
무수한 기술과 편리함 속에서 사물들은 서서히 사라지고,
세계는 디지털의 탈물질화 속으로 흩어져간다.

어디서나, 언제든 연결이 가능한 시대.
그러나 아이러니하게도, 과도한 소통은 오히려 거리의 감각을 지워버린다.
타자와의 경계가 무너지고, 침묵과 고요의 자리는 점점 사라져간다.

 

The world is moving toward a state where information multiplies while meaning diminishes.
Amid countless technologies and conveniences, objects slowly fade away,
 

and the world disperses into the dematerialization of the digital.

An era in which connection is possible anytime, anywhere.
Yet paradoxically, excessive communication erases the very sense of distance.
 

Boundaries between self and other collapse,
and the spaces of silence and stillness gradually disappear.

마음속 깊은 평온함조차 세상의 소음에 잠식당한다.
이제 고요는 ‘존재하는 것’이 아니라,
끊임없이 되찾아야 하는 어떤 상태가 되어버렸다.

이 전시는 사라져가는 것들에 대한 애도이자, 고요에 대한 사유다.

사물과 인간, 소음과 침묵, 물질과 디지털의 경계는 결국 하나의 살결 위에서 진동하고 있다.
이 전시는 그 진동 속에서 묻는다

Even the deepest inner calm is swallowed by the noise of the world.
Stillness is no longer something that simply exists;
 

it has become a state that must be continually reclaimed.

This exhibition is both a mourning for what is disappearing
and a meditation on stillness.

The boundaries between object and human, noise and silence, matter and the digital
ultimately vibrate upon a single surface of skin.
